A reminder to all exhibitors that you must have the correct insurance and public liability insurance where applicable. The Road Traffic Act applies at all times and drivers must have the correct drivers licence for there exhibit.

INFORMATION
Arrival from Thursday 4th July after 12 noon (for safety reasons you cannot be allowed onto site any earlier) until 10am Monday, 10th July. No Admittance to the Rally Field after 21.00hrs unless specifically arranged with the section head.
Low loaders and trailers are not permitted on the rally field during the event. Please park them in parking bays in the wood. If it is absolutely necessary to unload or load on the field please do so in the ring away from the general public, but only outside opening hours.
Statement of safety policy- The Great Yorkshire Traction Engine Club Rally is a recognised National Traction Engine Trust Rally and therefore conforms to its Safety Code. This policy is based upon participants, be they exhibitors, spectators or other persons concerned with the event, recognising their responsibility to act in a safe and reasonable manner towards themselves and each other.
Important note – All persons driving vehicles must have Road Traffic Insurance and must comply with the conditions of that insurance.
It should be noted that as the site is open to the public normal traffic regulations apply which include drink driving restrictions.
Speed must be restricted to a maximum of 5mph whilst on the Rally field, camping area and roads. Vehicle movement is restricted during the opening hours of the rally (unless agreed by the rally organisers) and overnight between 10.00pm and 8.00am.
Tractors Only to carry one person per tractor regardless of the number of seats
Quad bikes/scooters driven by children can be dangerous, can we ask that you leave them at home.
Trailers carrying passengers shall conform to regulations i.e. fixed seats and side boards to minimum height.

Security Patrols There will be a uniformed security person checking all people and vehicles entering the site after the normal closing times. There will also be a mobile patrol throughout the night.
Please cooperate with these security officers.
Rubbish Bins are provided at strategic points around the site and will be emptied regularly.
Drinking water is available from taps positioned along the fence on the wooded side of the rally field. Water for engines will be provided in road tankers positioned on the cross road at the top of the site, please try to minimise spillage.
Elsan Points are tanks clearly marked in the camping field and next to the main toilets. A tap is provided for washing out – the drinking water taps must not be used for this purpose.
Dogs are welcome but must be kept under control and owners must pick-up after them.
Generators must be silenced and switched off no later than midnight for the comfort of other campers.
Fire - A number of fire fighting points are provided around the site but all caravans should have their own fire extinguisher. Barbeques should be extinguished on completion of cooking.
If a fire breaks out clear the surrounding area and raise the alarm by using one of the bells on the fire points or other means. Only tackle the fire if your safety is not compromised.
Crime/vandalism will not be tolerated. Please carry out a neighbourhood watch duty and report any theft or vandalism to security or the event organisers.
Noise is to be kept to a minimum at night in order not to disturb adjoining campers
Lost children should be taken to the secretary’s tent or the commentary box.
First Aid will be available on site
Please co-operate with the stewards in taking up your allocated camping area and keep the area tidy. Please park with your exhibit to the front of your caravan / tent; there will not be room for parking at the side.
Please remember that the public pay to see your exhibit; please make sure that it is on display.
